Blog prompt: Read Sound Reasoning, Chapter 4 on Musical Emphasis, listening to the audio examples provided along the way. For your blog post, find your own example of a song or piece of music that you think uses musical emphasis in an interesting way. In the blog, describe the following: 1) Where in the recording (prove a time marker or two) your moment of musical emphasis happens, 2) How musical emphasis is created (is it durational emphasis? change? etc.), and 3) Why you find this too be a particularly interesting or expressive moment.
